Native to the Kruger Park - just a stone’s throw from Butterfly Farms, African elephants delight in feasting on its distinctive green berries, rich in Vitamin C. Much desired by local people as an aphrodisiac, marula fruit is used in marriage ceremonies and to produce a tangy beer, whilst infusions of its bark is believed to determine the gender of an unborn child.
